| Customer Reviews:
Should not be your main source only April 18, 2007 Arlene C. Meyer (Tampa, FL) This book contains ideas on how to make one's daughters and female students acquire some math skills. I have not found anything that made me say, "Wow!" They are usable in a group setting but can be modified if you are working with a student at home. If you are looking for ideas on how to strengthen a student's math skill, you will need help from several resources including hands-on activities, online resources of quality toys and products, a knowledgeable Math teacher/mentor, better and stronger Math curriculums, and lifestyle change (more math-type activities vs. more dolls), etc. This book alone will just be one of many resources to draw from. I do appreciate the author's ideas. I give it 3 stars.
