Product Description
Detailed Description Unlike conventional math series that concentrate on the mechanical manipulations of arithmetic, Miquon Math presents a broader introduction to mathematics, of which arithmetic is only a part. While conventional series drill and bore, Miquon Math allows children to be creative and imaginative problem solvers.

I have used a lot of different curriuclums and I like this one the best for starting out with math. You will need the annotations to get started but you can get a used version as you will not need it once you understand how the program works. The thing I like the best is the fact that it starts our very slow and yet very quickly the kids are doing multiplication and dividing. I did have one child that didn't like this. I wish now I had just waited a couple of years and let him do it later he is 14 now and still has trouble with math. Because it is written to look like a younger kids book it would not very good for older kids however you might want to consider the "key to" seires by the same company.
