From the supplier: Language students at the North Carolina School of Science and Math in Durham, NC are increasing their language skills at the integrated language laboratory. At the heart of the lab, which combines video, audio and computer-based components, is the IS-10 language lab system from Tandberg Educational Inc. The unit contains 23 units which combine a recorder, headphones and microphone, and a video cassette recorder. In addition, two of the units are equipped with IBM PS/2 30 microcomputers with color monitors. Two teachers at master consoles are able to direct the activities of the students as they use the school's FLUENT foreign language program and commercially available video instruction materials to perform a range of language skill for classes in Russian, Spanish, French, Latin and German.
