Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This book reflects the growing interest in the theory of Clifford algebras and their applications. The author has reworked his previous book on this subject, Topological Geometry, and has expanded and added material. As in the previous version, the author includes an exhaustive treatment of all the generalizations of the classical groups, as well as an excellent exposition of the classification of the conjugation anti-involution of the Clifford algebras and their complexifications. Toward the end of the book, the author introduces ideas from the theory of Lie groups and Lie algebras. This treatment of Clifford algebras will be welcomed by graduate students and researchers in algebra.

The author has reworked his previous book on this subject, Topological Geometry, and has expanded and added material to bring the theory of Clifford algebras to the fore. As in the previous version, an exhaustive treatment of all the generalisations of the classical groups is included, and the author gives an excellent exposition of the classification of the conjugation anti- involution of the Clifford algebras and their complexifications. Towards the end of the book, ideas from the theory of Lie groups and Lie algebras are introduced. This is a treatment of the theory of Clifford algebras that will be welcomed for its clarity and detail.

I have not been able to do without this text. It does not remain on long on the shelves of our University Library. A complete and easily understood reference. All that is missing is a companion book on applications and representations.
