It all comes together....... September 11, 2005 King James (Cyberspace) 30 out of 36 found this review helpful
It is hard to put into words, but this book is gem. I probably could have written several of the chapters myself as much of my thinking is aligned with the author's point of view. That's my bias for this review. It wasn't hard for me to pick up this book and accept it at face value. Without the needed mindset to digest or reaffirm the nuggets of knowledge contained within, I could envision the book producing a little doubt for some readers...doubts about the author, his concepts, and ideas. This is the most honest book I've ever read. Read this book with an open mind. Some of the ideas may sound a bit farfetched, but when you realize that you have already experienced most of them, you quickly become a believer. Many of these concepts have been around for a long time and written about in the past, but none have been so simply put and easily understood as in this book. The main ideas behind the Attractor Factor: 1. Know what you don't want. 2. Select what you do want. 3. Clear all negative or limiting beliefs. 4. Feel what it would be like to have, do, or be what you want. 5. Let go as you act on your intuitive impulses, and allow the results to manifest. They sound simple, but the book goes into great detail explaining and helping you understand how the above exist and function. This book deserves to be read. It is very easy reading and you will find yourself coming back to it. I found it very inspiring. If you do buy it, try to live by the principles contained within it. You will make this world a better place.
These truths 'resonate' with your 'smarter self'! March 24, 2005 Laura Childs (Canada) 61 out of 93 found this review helpful
I finished my copy of this book yesterday. Then started reading it again today. As if that fact alone is not weird enough, here's where it gets even more bizarre... I'm a book junkie. Ripping through 100s of print and ebooks every month is standard fare. Some are memorable, many are not. Most, I would say, would never deserve a second go. None have ever called for a second reading the very next day. There's a lot to get your head around in The Attractor Factor. Some pretty far out stuff that seems unbelievable. Yet when I read it there was a part of me that 'resonated' with it. Some 'smarter self' that knew what Dr. Vitale was teaching here were some age-old truths that few had ever written so eloquently. The truths merge with your own while you read. Secrets to wealth, happiness and peace are within. You'll wake up in the morning knowing you've changed and have to read the book again to find out how. But all the while you'll know that you're on a new journey, to a more beautiful place than you've ever been before. P.S. The final written chapter of The Attractor Factor is called The Experiment - a 30 day/20 minutes a day plan to ask for and note changes in your life. I am now on day 19 and have already received many 'gifts' as a result of this work. When my 30 days is up I'll be sharing the experience publicly on www.attractorfactor.com and hope to read your results there as well!
Great Book for Students of "The Secret" and the Law of Attraction June 13, 2007 O. Brown (Twopeas, WA) 12 out of 17 found this review helpful
***** This is not a perfect book, but it is an enjoyable and very helpful book for students of the Law of Attraction. Joe Vitale writes honestly and in a conversational style (this is a quick and easy read), discussing the Law of Attraction and how to apply it specifically to building wealth. However, he also covers attracting health, relationships, and more. The principle is the same no matter what it is applied to. His process is distilled to 5 steps: 1. Know what you don't want. 2. Select what you do want. 3. Clear all negative or limiting beliefs. 4. Feel what it would be like to have, do, or be what you want. 5. Let go as you act on your intuitive impulses, and allow the results to manifest. The value of the book is in the discussion as to HOW this happens, and all of the many examples the author gives. He also discusses historical resources, authors, and motivational speakers who influenced him in his personal development, so the book is full of great resources. The best book on this topic I've read is Michael Losier's "The Law of Attraction". This book would be in the second tier after the LOA, but very, very valuable. The only criticism I have of it is that the author does plug himself and his other offerings a lot, but I mine for the gold, and there is much gold here, so I just glossed over anything I didn't need or wasn't interested in. *****
Joe does it again. September 15, 2005 E. Ridley (Northern AZ) 16 out of 25 found this review helpful
Boy, I enjoy reading Joe Vitale. His earlier marketing books, and his online offerings are all pearls of wisdom in the vast internet sea of sludge. "Attractor Factor" is different though. And better. In this book, Dr. Vitale summarizes the wisdom of many masters, synthesizes it with his own hard-earned observations and wisdom, and ends up with a great little spiritual handbook for achieving greatness - however you determine greatness. Whether it's fame, riches, or simply happiness and satisfaction, Joe's book offers a unique and clear path for achieving your fondest goals. This is one of the few books I own which will end up dog-eared and well-worn from my constant repeated reading. Thanks, Joe!
A Must-Read August 5, 2005 Mike Stokes (Baton Rouge, LA) 5 out of 15 found this review helpful
This is probably the definitive book on how to get negative "stinkin' thinkin'" out of your head.
