The 1997 book "Network Design Using EcoNets" is a revised edition of the 1990 book "Network Topology Optimization - The Art and Science of Network Design". The new book also has 5 additional chapters dealing with newer technologies such as PCS, AIN, Backbone Networks etc. The new book maintains the older book's strength as both a textbook and guidebook for networking specialists. The new book also provides a diskette with the latest network design software called EcoNets that was introduced in the older book.
