Editorial Reviews:
Product Description "Marty Laone, new boy in third grade, is good at math but so bad at gym that he's always picked last. He spends most of (his time) plotting to escape the dreaded class--until a teacher and fellow classmate let him know that he's not alone. . . . This is distinguished by Duffey's skill in making Marty's inner feelings ring true."--Kirkus Reviews.

Customer Reviews:
Math Applications August 8, 2006 Elizabeth C. Sickler (PA, USA) A math wiz views the world in the form of math equations: baby + bottle = happy baby; baby - bottle = crying baby; what's a math wiz to do when Math Wiz + PE = misery? As a math teacher, I get excited about books that show creative problem solving techniques. It's a good read for anyone who doesn't fit in--it might even give the reader ideas for how to solve their own "fitting-in" challenges.
