Product Description
From the back cover: Seaweed soup is green and slimy and smelly. And Turtle's serving it for lunch! Readers can learn about sets as they watch Turtle set the table. But who's going to tell him that nobody wants to try the seaweed soup? Two pages in the back provide activity ideas for adults and students.

5 out of 5 stars fantastic book   August 25, 2008

This book is wonderful. My 3 yr old and I both love it. She loves the story so much that we actually act it out with her toys. The basic story is that turtle invites his friends over for lunch, but everyone thinks they will hate the seaweed soup... until they try it. My daughter finds it funny that the clam thinks turtle is mad at them for eating it all. Even if you put the math part aside, it's a great, simple story and very well written. The illustrations are cute and funny too. The educational aspect is an added bonus.
