Any students new to the idea of abstract algebra, just as I was at the beginning of my degree, will find this book answers so many of the questions you are unable to ask in lectures. All explainations are clear and describe step-by-step methods on how to tackle problems. Thankfully, unlike many textbooks, this book is written without unecessary complication, and not too much information is tackled at once. Aside from the text, each topic has questions at the end. Answers are given to most of these problems, including the steps required to reach them.
This is best book I have found to ease the reader into abstract ideas needed to tackle problems in this field.
