Its renowned authors engaging writing style and unique, intimate voice make the text compelling without being simplistic. Easy to understand and well written January 9, 2008 P. Gartman (Salt Lake City, Ut.) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm a senior at BYU and I found this text extremely well written. It is filled with interesting examples and cartoons that explain the concepts very well. I also really liked the layout of the pages of the book (the text is in the middle and the outer edges contained the important concepts and definitions). This is one of the few textbooks I've ever read that I enjoyed reading. It's GREAT!!!
Great book! February 10, 2008 Tara A. Sieling (San Clemente, CA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
For a graduate class, nobody looks forward to the boring textbook. This book, however, is very user friendly...I actually enjoyed it!
Well done February 28, 2008 Hans (Oslo, Norway) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Simply the best psychology book I've read. Fascinating and thoroughly documented. Entertaining and filled with humour as well. Lots of real life examples and applications.
The Best July 1, 2008 Hannah Hakala This is the best text book I have ever used. For the first time I have found myself reading ahead to unassigned chapters. I want to note that I study sociology, not psychology (emphasizing the lack of bias) as this is more of a psychological discourse.
