Product Description Designed for the one-semester course, Seeley/Stephens/Tate's Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology is written to allow instructors the ability to accomplish one overall goal: to teach the basics of A&P while fostering the skill of problem solving. Through learning how to solve problems and think critically, students learn A&P based on two themes: the relationship between structure and function, and homeostasis.

Not happy with purchase September 11, 2008 M. Masterson 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The seller advertised the standard version of the book I ordered but then mailed the international version to me, and the seller did not offer any money back when I emailed about my dissatisfaction with the wrong item. It was false advertising, and I have had to make some accommodations for the book to work for the course I am taking. I received it too close to the start date of my course, so I couldn't look for a new one and return the wrong version in time. The seller also didn't disclose that he/she would be shipping it to the U.S. from another country, so I spent too much money on shipping and didn't even receive what I ordered. The book was in new condition, so I appreciate that, and that is the only reason I give two stars.
