Business Mathematics Learning Outcomes
LEARNING OUTCOMES: Upon completion of Business Mathematics, students will be able to perform the following:
1. Students will be able to compute probabilities involving single events, unions, intersections, conditional probabilities, Bayes’ formula, permutations and combinations.
2. Students will be able to solve problems involving the use of matrix operations such as addition, multiplication, the inverse matrix and Gauss Jordan methods.
3. Students will be able to solve problems in linear programming using the graphical method.
4. Students will be able to solve business application problems using elementary algebra techniques such as solving systems of equations, finding the vertex of a parabola and solving for a particular variable.
