Linear Algebra Books

Linear algebra, as an undergraduate course, is the study of matrices, determinants, vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, and inner product spaces. A good course in linear algebra will motivate matrix multiplication, contain many proofs, explain bases, and prepare the science, engineering and math student for additional coursework. Practical material and many applications should be covered as well as a good amount of theoretical material preparing the continuing math student for more abstract courses after linear algebra.
