Intermediate Algebra Books

Intermediate algebra presents a study of the real number system involving equations, functions, graphs, and their applications. Linear equations and inequalities in one and two variables are studied in intermediate algebra, including systems of linear equations. Problem solving is emphasized including working many word problems involving motion and change. Factoring and simplifying expressions such as exponential, radical, polynomial and rational expressions are studied in depth. Also detailed in intermediate algebra are quadratic functions, graphing quadratic functions, and solving equations with a quadratic form.
