Kids loved this. My 9-year Grandson was having trouble with some of his division tables, and multiplication is the reverse. SO I bought both sets for him, and both he and his 7-year old sister have been enjoying them. It's a fun way to learn and reinformce. Now my Grandson doesn't need them, but he helps his younger sister "play" the game!
These are large, easy to read and see and the kids really like them.

It definitely is worth a buy if you want your kid to remember times tables randomly. To learn the times table I was not spending enough time with my daughter to ask her randomly all times table. She would know one table at a time after she moved on to next table, she would find it hard to remember the previous one. After I bought these flash cards, everyday she had to sit down and answer the multiplication on the card. Initially she would take time to answer, but after a week of pratice with the cards, she now knows all her tables from 0-12. Its excellent for kids to practice on their own. It helps with accuracy, speed and random order. Just remember to have your child review it every single day until he/she knows it all.
The multiplication is on both sides, answer on the back of the card. So the kids dont see the answer and can try to remember on their own, or flip back to see the answer. You can also play games with the cards. Have a pile and each person opens the card on the top. If both answer correctly, the person with the higher answer gets to keep the cards. The one with the maximum number of cards win. This is fun and kids do not feel overwhelmed by multiplication.
A definite buy. There are many flash cards on Amazon. You can buy any as long as it covers 0-12. There are some that only go from 1-9. Usually kids need to remember till 12. And even 0 is important. So look and buy accordingly. Expensive or cheap doesnt matter. Its just some cards that you need for review.

These cards work fine for standard drilling. But I wanted to play War with them as a way of making math facts more fun. It didn't occur to me when I ordered them that the answer to one side being printed on the other would make games difficult to play. Moreover, I found the cards impossible to shuffle because they're so big and flimsy.
