Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Learn an insider's approach to the math SAT® and ACT® : If you're looking for a brief description of how to beat the math portion of the standardized tests, this is it. This short book covers techniques that can be used to raise your score without spending many hours on improving your math. They are called “secrets,” but the only thing secret about them is that students don’t know them. For best results, this book and the official practice tests should be preceded by a thorough review of high school math. For a solid math review, try using Mr. Corn's other book, Math Study Guide for the SAT®, ACT® and SAT® Subject Tests.

Customer Reviews: Great book to prepare for SAT June 25, 2009 Hira (Stamford, Ct) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My daughter is a very good math student, but her SAT scores did not match her ability. She did not need to know any more math, rather what she needed to know was how to take the test. By providing a variety of techniques to try, this book helped her adapt to the test, including how to manage her time and move at the best pace for her. The result was a 780 on the math SAT. I highly recommend using this book in combinaton with lots of practice tests.
